Trash and Debris Removed from Banks of White River

INDIANAPOLIS – Tomorrow morning, Citizens Energy Group, Friends of the White River, the Indianapolis Department of Public Works (DPW), and United Water will team up to remove trash from the banks of the White River. Hundreds of volunteers will also donate their time to this cleanup effort. Over the past 26 years, more than 1.5 million pounds of trash and debris have been collected during the cleanup.

What:            26th Annual White River Cleanup

When:           Saturday, April 12 @ 9 a.m.

Where:          Staging Area: Republic National Distributors, 700 W. Morris Street

*Volunteers will clean areas along Washington Street, Raymond Street and Morris Street
