Presentations for CEMT Students

Citizens Energy Group personnel participate in IUPUI's Construction Engineering Management Technology (CEMT) Soils and Foundations class once per semester as guest lecturers providing CEMT students exposure to real world construction projects in Indianapolis.

The Soils and Foundations class generally consists of about 20 to 30 students per semester. The 90-minute presentation is interactive and covers Citizens' DigIndy Tunnel System, including geotechnical topics relevant to the class's curriculum, as well as construction updates of various ongoing DigIndy projects.

Interactions with the CEMT students have been especially interesting because some students have personal tunnel construction experiences from internships with local contractors providing services on DigIndy projects.
