1. Select a Contractor

If you are increasing pressure or requesting a larger meter, we suggest you solicit a licensed and bonded plumbing and heating contractor qualified to service, install or replace natural gas equipment and interior gas lines. Discuss the details of your natural gas service with your contractor, including the existing natural gas appliances and their individual BTU load, the appliances you wish to install and their individual BTU load, and the delivery pressure required.

2. Complete the Online Request Form

List each of your existing natural gas equipment and their individual BTU loads (found on the equipment label). Then list your newly added natural gas equipment and their individual BTU loads. Include your inside gas line type and delivery pressure required, even if it is the same as what you have now.

3. Review and Consultation

Once we receive a completed request, Citizens Energy Group will then be able to determine and advise you if the service and meter are large enough to handle the additional natural gas equipment and/or pressure. It will take 3-4 business days to receive an email reply about what is needed to accommodate your request. Incomplete information on this request will delay the process.
