Citizens Energy Group is making unprecedented investments in our community's water and wastewater infrastructure that will have immeasurable benefits for the people and environment of Central Indiana.
Many of the investments we are planning are mandated under a Consent Decree with the federal government or otherwise required by federal or state laws. Higher utility rates will be necessary over the next decade to finance the more than $2 billion in investments required to ensure safe drinking water, system reliability and environmental protection.
While nobody likes higher utility bills, investments to provide clean drinking water and a cleaner environment are necessary to ensure a world class city for our children. |
