Citizens Supports the 1st and Green Group Challenge The Ist & Green Group Challenge allows you to form a group of up to 30 colleagues, friends, family, students, or any other group to track the cumulative impact of your individual actions, such as turning off the water when you brush your teeth, taking shorter showers, planting trees, carpooling or riding your bicycle instead of driving. The Group Challenge will track your reduction in carbon emissions and water usage in your group’s personalized calculator. Our 1st & Green leader board will allow your group to see which groups are currently “winning” in the challenge, though ultimately we all win. The groups that have saved the most water and reduced the most carbon emissions will be recognized on the 1st & Green and Host Committee web sites in January 2012. Your group can be as small as two or as large as 30 people. If you have more than 30 people in your organization, you are welcome to create more than one group, and see which of your groups can be “greener”! The challenge starts in September and through January so get your group together and JOIN NOW! |
In February Indianapolis will be home to Super Bowl XLVI. Citizens encourages you to participate in the 1st & Green Group Challenge, the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee’s program to reduce carbon emissions, save water, and promote environmental awareness. Help us to make the Super Bowl more than just a game and leave Indiana a greener state.
