Lamkin Martha Lamkin served as the founding president, chief executive officer and member of the board of directors of Lumina Foundation for Education, Inc. from 2000-2007. Martha helped develop the Foundation while serving as executive vice president at USA Group, Inc., and on whose board she served. Martha previously served as president of the Cummins Engine Company Foundation; executive director of corporate responsibility and government affairs of Cummins Engine Company; and manager for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Indiana office. She served as a trustee and chair of The Indianapolis Foundation and the Central Indiana Community Foundation. Martha has served on boards of several corporations, nonprofit organizations and higher-education institutions. ![]() Board Treasurer Jeffrey Good As a leader of Milestone Advisors since 2004, Good has helped expand the company from 4 to 25 employees. The organization works with entrepreneurial companies seeking to grow their organization. Prior to joining Milestone, Good held a variety of business management positions including being an auditor for Ernst & Young LLP, and Executive Vice President with USA Group, Inc. A 1984 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Good is a member of the Indiana CPA Society and a board member for the Indiana Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth. Jeff also has served as Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee for the Indianapolis Civic Theatre. ![]() Anne Nobles Prior to joining Eli Lilly, Anne Nobles was an attorney at the law firm of Bose, McKinney &Evans LLP, Indianapolis. She has held several positions for the state of Indiana, including securities commissioner and executive assistant to the governor for fiscal policy. She has served on a number of state and local commissions and not-for-profit boards, including being appointed as the first chairwomen of the Indiana Commission for Women and past chair of the advisory board of the Salvation Army of Indiana. Anne is also a member of the board of directors of the National Urban League, the Women’s Leadership Board of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, and a member of the Committee of 200. ![]() James M. McClelland In 1970, James Mclelland entered Goodwill Industries of America’s Executive Training Program in Houston. In 1972 he became Executive Vice President of Goodwill Industries in Beaumont TX, following which he accepted the position of Vice President-Operations of Goodwill Industries of Central Indiana, Inc. In addition, he is currently Chairman of Workability – Americas and is on the Board of Directors of Workability International. Jim has served on the boards of numerous not-for-profit organizations and is currently a member of the State Workforce Innovation Council, and is on the board of the Indiana Public Charter Schools Association. He is also vice president of the Economic Club of Indiana. ![]() Anita J. Harden Anita Harden has attained many awards and honors including the “Sagamore of the Wabash” for her work as a loaned executive to Governor Evan Bayh's office and she was inducted into the Indianapolis Public Schools Alumni Hall of Fame. Anita serves on the Board of the Indianapolis Private Industry Council (IPIC). She is a past president of the Marion County Mental Health Association. She is also on the boards of the Hispanic Center, Indianapolis Zoological Society, La Plaza and Jackson-Peoples Living Center. She generously volunteers her time with medical mission work, where she has served in Haiti, Cuba and Vietnam. A registered nursing graduate of Indiana University, she also received a master's in nursing and an MBA from IU. Prior to joining Community Health Network, Anita taught at the IU School of Nursing. ![]() Daniel C. Appel Dan Appel is the fourth-generation member of his family associated with the Indianapolis insurance agency of Gregory & Appel. He oversees some of the agency’s largest accounts, drawing on his extensive understanding of insurance and risk management. Dan is widely respected for his considerable community involvement with organizations such as Noble of Indiana and the Indianapolis Museum of Art. A Certified Insurance Counselor, Dan holds an Indiana Agents License. He earned his B.S. in finance from Indiana University. ![]() Moira Carlstedt Moira Carlstedt has served as President of INHP since 1998. Before joining INHP, Carlstedt spent two years as the Director of the Department of Metropolitan Development for the City of Indianapolis. Prior to that, she worked for 10 years in the real estate industry and for four years in the banking industry. Carlstedt has a bachelor of arts degree from Bradley University. She also has been a Fannie Mae Fellow at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government. Carlstedt is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee, the Super Bowl Housing Legacy Inc., Develop Indy, Rebuilding Together, Meadows Community Foundation, and the Local Initiatives Support Corporation. ![]() Phillip Terry Phillip Terry has been CEO of Monarch Beverage Company, EF Transit, Inc., and Vision Concepts, LLC since 1991. Prior to joining Monarch, Terry was a partner at McHale, Cook & Welch, P.C. Terry has a bachelor of arts degree and a doctor of law degree from Indiana University. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Wheaton World Wide Moving, Inc., the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Lawrence Chamber of Commerce.
